Stuck Lock

My mate can't get the battery out of his Trance. The key will not turn to open the lock and release it.
Anyone have a solution.

Take out the two security bolts on the down tube behind the lower headset cup and try fettle the battery out but be careful not to let the battery drop out onto the floor

Just changed the control switch for him. That was definitely unnecessarily fiddly.

I’ve got the same problem. What 2 security bolts are u referring to? Can’t see them (or am I being stupid) Trance e +2

I can't remember, it was a year ago now and it was a mates bike and he's just got rid as it turned out to be a load of shite. Three new motors and four control units and various axle and bearing problems in two years.
