Spider wheel removal

Hi, I have a 2020 levo HT and I am trying to change the chainwheel to a 36T, I have taken the pedal and crank arm off, but can’t get the chainwheel over the spider wheel. How does the spider wheel come off? Before I start banging it anti clockwise with a rubber mallet!!! Thanks

Panic over, managed to slip it over the spider......eventually! Also found out that the chain guide moves up and down, so no need to do anything with that.....must be a HT thing.

I think the standard way is to use a puller??
