• Warning!!

Riding a tuned or deristricted EMTB is not a trivial offence and can have serious legal consequences. Also, many manufacturers can detect the use of a tuning device or deristricting method and may decline a repair under warranty if it was modified from the intended original specification. Deristricting EMTB's can also add increased loads for motors and batteries. Riding above the local law limit may reclassify the bike as a low-powered bike, requiring insurance, registration and a number plate.

Be aware of your local country laws. Many laws prohibit use of modified EMTB's. It is your responsibility to check local laws. Ignoring it, has potential implications to trail access, and risk of prosecution in the event of an accident.

Hi there. I'm very new in the e-bike world. I look forward to getting a Speedbox for my bike. There are some things I would need a little help from you guys. Any help will be appreciated. I tried to do my research as good as possible.
So my bike has Bosch Active Line Plus motor.
1.) Should I get Speedbox 2 or 3 for this motor?
2.) I read that many motors get some 504 error code and eventually go into a limp mode. Is this a problem usually with only Gen 4? My motor is Gen 3, right? If so, should my Gen 3 motor be less likely get that kinda issues?
3.) Speedbox 3 says after you finish your ride, you need to leave your bike on until countdown is finished and bike shuts itself off. Is this a thing with Gen 4 only?
That's all I have in my mind for now.
Thank you.
