Better & Better!
New to E-bike, my 2nd real ride.
Yesterday it snowed lightly and was cold. But, as a bit of a weather fanatic, out I went....
I was amazed at how well my Stance behaved in cold (battery worked fine), the 27.5 x 2.4 never felt like they would loose traction. ?
I came from a Fat Bike with 4” tires so my ability to compare is good.
Course, it took 10 warm minutes for me to feel my thumb again!

Any other thoughts on bikes in the COLD.....

Many MTB tyres work well on snow, but they are just as crap as slicks on ice. So be careful, you could be laid on your side with a broken hip in less time than it takes to say "what the ...."

From my limited experience of one emtb and my 15 months on this Forum, I can say that the concerns appear to be reduced range and problems with charging if the charger and/or the battery is cold and has a low charge.

Dont get much snow in Kentucky but really enjoy riding when we do. Much better than the mud we typically have all winter..
I too was impressed with the traction on the crunchy white stuff.

Nice picture! ?
Maybe after I warm up enough to actually feel the shutter button.....
A ‘Pic on the trail’ thread would be good. ❓❓
My limiting factors where not, wind in the sails, or charge in the pack, or friction with frozen rubber. My limiting factor was feeling in my fingers and toes.?
