Think you'd be better putting on 2.6 inch tyres though. The 2.8 would increase bb height and be more fragile, your money though.
Cheers for that. But I'm currently running 3.0.wtb fast rollers which are good but not much clearance. 2.80 would be perfect. But can't find anyone that does them in the UK. Seen some from US called terene mcfly that look good but would be costly with the shipping ontop.

What's the chunkiest 2.60.for a 29r out there any recommendations?

Bontrager Se5 are good tyres in 2.6, if you want a faster tyre try the Se4 again in 2.6. Dont know if they are the chunkiest though.
