Santa Cruz Heckler MX Fork for Hightower Fork

Hi All,

I was wondering if anybody had any thoughts of swapping out the Heckler MX fork (Rockshox Pike Select+ 140mm) with a Hightower (Fox 36 Performance 150mm) fork?

I haven't actually ridden the Hightower yet, I'm supposed to get it in a couple of days. Any users have experience with the Pike Select shock? Ive ridden it on another bike before and it just felt "ok". I love my Fox 36, but there's probally a reason why Santa Cruz lowered the MX version to a 140mm travel from a 150mm travel.
