Hello
I just updated my EVO Ride Control and it looked like the bikelight was not working anymore. Then I discovered that the update changed the way to switch on or off the front- and backlight.
The lights are switched off at start. You have to push the lightbutton on the remotecontrol 2 seconds to switch the lights on. Again 2 seconds to switch off.
The nice thing about it that now you can independently from the lights working, have your display illuminated brightly. That was not possible before and finally Giant has resolved the problem of a too dark display, riding with lights switch off.
The stupid thing about it that Giant doesn’t tell you what is changed after an update. Or maybe I can’t find a source telling me.
What else are hidden functions in my Ride Control?
Best Regards, Otto
