Day one after i think i will survive one of the crueles diseases: i've a "man's cold" πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ since friday when i picked up my bike.
After those days of almost dying πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ i went to vist my bike in the basement. I fixed the not well working shifting and put some 3M foil on the bike. Hopefully can start first ride at weekend if i recovered till then

Well done @Duke πŸ‘

I changed the brakes to Shigura, cockpit tp 50mm Stem and 780mm Carbon bar with 30mm rise, saddle with Uphill lip, cranks to more sturdy e13 ones, shortened the cables and changed the tires to TL. Going to wrap it tommorow and then it's ready to roll. Pictures when the Job is done 😎

Q: did your Bike come with the Fox Fender installed from Fab?

Lol. Hopefully some markets in the States get em. I talked with the dealer again today, and the report I got was Giant didn't say "No" but they wouldn't say "Yes."

I'm cool about it, but... I have been ordering spare parts! If there will be no new bikes this year, I'll try and make sure the one I've got keeps going.
My dealer says they are coming and it looks like mediums and larges are confirmed in +3 and +2

Wait to see if the are getting the small they have ordered.

Do you mean to say that batteries for the new Reign are cross-compatible with the earlier years?

I've noticed that the Giant batteries seem about 20% more expensive than Shimano equivalents and was considering a repack if it ever came to that. Good to know if Giant batteries are compatible across the EMTB range.
Giant batteries are top shelf, not to be compared with the likes of the Shimano units. That's harsh but true, based on my experience with exactly 2 pairs of each brands batteries.

Can someone with a medium please let me know what the seatpost insertion?

Seat tube length is listed as 425mm, but it looks like about half of this is actually room for the seatpost from what I can see.

I assume dropper sizing is 125mm Small, 150mm Medium and 170+ Large... has anyone confirmed this?

I'm able to completely insert a 150mm Giant Dropper in a medium Frame.

My M size came with 125mm Dropper but should have a 150 version so I changed it right away.

Thanks for that - Damn, 125mm is nothing.

I'm looking at a 200mm which is 549mm or alternatively 170mm at 495mm.

Any idea what the maximum insertion depth is? It looks like the 150 giant dropper is 440mm so that's good to know.!

In the spec sheet like you say there should be a 150mm dropper but Giant are delivering it with only a 125mm and you have to pay for an upgrade to put in a 150mm ? That really sucks. This in fact is an important point for me when deciding on a new ebike. 125mm is too little for me and I can't be arsed changing the dropper on all the ebikes I owned.

My LBS told me he would swich the seat post free for a longer one because i have long legs.
It just makes sense if he give a deposit before seing/testing a bike that if it does not fit we
get our deposit back. Anyway they have a list of people waiting to buy bikes.

Lots of bikes from all brands are being delivered with diffenrt components to originally specified right now as they are having to put what they can get hold of onto bikes to get them to customers

My local shop in socal took a $100 deposit for first right of refusal for a medium level 2. He said the list price is $5599 and he is expecting them in November.

After running a oneup 210mm drop there's no way I can switch to 125mm.

you will be amazed to see how well it climbs, it is very agile even in narrow paths, it is short, easy to do nosepress

Having sold my 2020 Levo, I also have a Reign E+ 0 Pro on order. On paper it looks the ticket, but here in NZ, Giant apparently aren't great with warranty stuff. I also have a Alloy Levo Comp on order too. Can't decide what to do.

Can any one with one confirm wether the new bike will turn back on after even saying the word water near them?
My 2020 reign didn’t like water
I have a Giant 2021 and had a Giant 2020 Ebikes and never had a problem with water.
I never wash any bike, i simply wipe off the excess.
