I hear that Bikeflights is one of the most reasonable ways to ship a bike within the US. You might see if they operate in Oz.

Few years back I used Greyhound Freight Au, to get bike from QLD to NSW regional, price was reasonable.

Also used TNT (we have business account) it was very cheap. Not sure if they deal outside business environment.

I though Australia was the same size as the state of Alaska, so why cant you just deliver them yourself?
Australia is about 5 times bigger than Alaska.
Alaska is approximately 1,481,348 sq km, while Australia is approximately 7,741,220 sq km, making Australia 423% larger than Alaska. Meanwhile, the population of Alaska is ~710,231 people (22.5 million more people live in Australia).

Anyone have any recommendations for reasonable bike freight providers (boxed) within Australia from state to state?

I investigated interstate bike transport ..

Ranges of $200 to $250 per bike for frieght. Transfer/transport insurance to cover loss or damages $220-$260 per bike.

Fortunately a friend of a friend was returning in furniture truck and added it as a backload favour.

Smart Send seem to be the most reasonable and they use TNT which they will collect from your door or you can drop off at the depot.
Pack n Send have ridiculous prices and you have to drop off at a PnS outlet, many smaller towns don't have one but do have a TNT office.

Hey Buddy, got an emtb delivered from Alice to Darwin for $150 by Northline. Also sent auto parts to Melbourne with them so deliver Australia wide. Very competitive rates ATM.

I feel sick. I recently had a bike shipped from VIC to WA, many companies would not quote, with PackandSend being the only option.
$890. Yes, nearly $900.

No, not your only option. See my post above for Smart Send, dirt cheap and fast, they use TNT, they don't even need to quote, all you do is fill out all the details online and they pick it up.

Sportscorp picked up an eBike from country Victoria and took it to Adelaide for $89.
Whatever deal they have with the couriers is impressive.
