Range issues

Range issues.....Hi i have 2020 merida e8000 and my wife has 2019 merida e500 battery drains way before hers.same size battery only different type...any answers?

Pull the throttles back on your rig? Sounds like the Wife is likely in better cardio shape? (im kidding, sort of)

Have you done a health check on the battery?

Maybe it comes down to difference in body weight with riding kit on. Motor is going to work harder to move more weight (assuming you riding together and use same level of assistance).

Are you both significantly different weights? Total rider weight (including all those spares that you are carrying in that backpack - and she's not) will make a big difference. I realise it's not the same motor, but the Bosch range calculator shows a 30% range difference between a 60kg rider and a 120kg rider.

yep thanks.. will get a health check on battery and look at other issues mentioned
