I’ve specialised turbo Levo FSR....my first ebike ....I’ve had it 3 week now ...how many hours or miles is it recommended I do before getting it serviced....I’ve not ridden anything major, just road and light trails

My LBS told me to bring my Scott in for a service after 4-6 weeks based on my riding. The LBS I purchased the Levo from said nothing - there is service and there is SERVICE.

Oil the chain before every ride, or after and be careful to not get any oil on the rear disc. Keep an eye on the spoke tension of the rear wheel. If you get some loose spokes either take it to the shop or read up on wheel maintenance.
Try to get the hang of not changing gear under load.(y)

For the free first service, as @Rusty says - 4 to 6 weeks.
Mine is going in on Saturday and I reckon I’ll have cleared about 200 miles by then. I’ve had a creak (fixed by tightening a stem bolt) and I’ve definitely got a loose spoke but I’m not playing with the wheels as I’ll only break them hah!

I think just ride it for a decent distance and then let them know of any issues and they’ll sort them for you.

Incidentally, mines been back once already to have the dropper replaced but I’ll still make use of the free service as, well, it’s free so why not.

Thanks....I’m going to follow that 5 -6 weeks guide ....I’ve only ridden light trails and road ...my mistake was though that I got my e bike from a online store and it’s a 3 hour drive so I’m going to have to pay for my first service at my nearest Specialized dealer
