Hi all. Joined a few weeks back. Been after a ebike for a while. Fancied one of those unicorns but gave up. Mate bought a Focus Jam2 and had a go and was hooked and needed one immediately.
Picked this up today and only had a quick spin out but heading out to Hamersterly forest tomorrow to give it a good work out.
I dont think this has had the firmware update. Does anyone know what the current firmware number is?

That i recall from a previous thread....

1.1.0.0 is the latest motor update - its the new 85nm torque, EMTB re-tune, etc update

Your bike should have the 85nm torque. If not, get it back to the dealership for the upgrade. Makes a big difference!

Are you sure its not 1.1.2.0? I ask as i got my new 160 SL about 2 weeks ago and i a little miffed despite being MY21 it is on the older FW.

1.1.2.0 is the latest firmware, but 1.1.0.0 is the version where the 85nm upgrade came in.

Aha...now i see. Thanks for the clarification.

I am pretty sure i have read elsewhere but FW can't be updated by any old pleb it needs to be the bike shop fella?

I was intending going straight back to where i got it (Cookstown Cycles - great service by the way) but according to the Bosch website they aren't motor service guys. Of course i'll call and check but was wondering what others insight was?

The bosch website is not very accurate in terms of who is a bosch dealer and who isn't.

And yes you can't update the motor firmware yourself you have to get it done by a bosch dealer. You can update the kiox display firmware yourself though.

If you've already got motor firmware 1.1.0.0 I wouldn't bother getting the update to 1.1.2.0.
