Hey everybody,

I'm a dutch Haibike rider and i thought i would post a thread for my bike and my customisations of it.

The bike is a Hardine 7.0 Bosch CX with a 500wh powertube.

I have ordered a range extender for the modular rail system (mrs) and found a secondhand 400wh battery wich should give me 900wh total. Really excited for this!

Just today i received my second set of wheels, they are Bontrager Line Comp 30 and i have fitted those with some Schwalbe G-One Speed tires in 29x2.35 (tubeless) wich make a huge difference on the road. My primary set is still fitted with the Schwalbe Nobby Nic in 29x2.6 and i will probably convert those to tubeless as well.

I fitted some Cube fenders since this is my do it all bike and it is nice to stay dry when commuting.

I also reversed to steering stem clamp from -6 to +6 degrees to get a bit more upright.

On my wishlist are some grips, pedals and maybe some new steering bars in the future.

Anyone else riding a hardnine?

Little update: changed the sprocket wheel to an 18t over the standard 16t to reduce wear on the 11t on the cassete (i can use a lower gear than with the 16t for the same cadence) and i lubed the splines.
I am working on customizing the front fender, will show pictures soon.
The cranks became very noisy (loud creaking) turns out the ISIS bolts had worked loose, tightend them.

I don't have the hard9 but I do have the hard7. Even our fenders are quite similar (although mine are sks).
I think the speed tires look great. I might buy a set to try them on.

Good to see some more hardtails on the forums!
What kind of hard7 do you ride?
The speed tires are really awesome on the road, highly recommend them. Since most of my use of the bike is commuting they really pay off.
Also the tubeless setup is just great, had a pinhole puncture yesterday, it fixed itself with the doc blue inside the tire!

Here are some pics with the tires fitted, also a sneak peak of my modded front fender

Mine is the Hard7 1.0 2018

Love what you did with the front fender, how is it attached ?

It looks both weird and cool AF with these tires on (y)

I see that you removed the stickers on your forks already . I did that and I'm playing around, adding/removing some that I bought. I'll upload some recent pics of mine soon :)

I found your thread, love the colors on your bike man! Really nice color scheme.

The fender is attached to the original mudguard, i took some cube fenders, sliced them in two, and attached them to the mini mudguard that came with the bike. In that way i could use the original mounting points. It is very sturdy.
I’ll take some pictures soon of them.

The decals were coming off a little on one side, so i decided to just take them off, maybe i will replace them with something else, for now i like the clean look.

I get so many responses on the tires, it is really funny, some like them, some don’t but overal people are positive and they ride great.

Thanks for the compliments about the color scheme! I like it too. Pretty cool look for the cheapest Haibike of 2018 :). Your top tube is better looking tho and the battery integration is neat! Mine's still from the 2017 frames.
