Mudguards

Hi all

Can anyone recommend decent front and rear rear mudguards which will fit a 2018 Jam2 27.5 Plus. Looking for a good level of protection. Thanks

Thanks. I went for the Rapid Racer proguard xl front and the proguard rear. Mistake - not enough clearance with 2.8 plus tyres. Ok on tarmac but hopeless in the mud. Have already taken them off and kind of resigned myself to another winter of getting filthy ?

2.8 tyres in the mud was your mistake not the mudguard choice

True true, I love em for most my riding but they’re crap in deep mud

I’ve just fitted a pair of mudhugger. Virtually no mud on my back and no muddy face anymore either.

I put the Mudhugger FRX on the front of my jam2 C. I have updated to a 29" Minion DHF 2.5" X 29" tire and it just looks way too close to the tire. I've tried the process of heating the Mudhugger with boiling water and re-shaping it but the clearance on the leading edge is just very minimal and will likely get caked with mud. I'm sure it's a bit better with the stock plus 27.5" tire but not with a 29" IMO.
