Mangled/Snapped my derailleur hanger today

:mad:On the smallest stick going about 2 inches long got sucked along the chain:mad:
so i found this on ebay
i thought that the hanger was supposed to bend ... no mine just snapped

tho found some good off piste today yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
at a cost tho...

thats what they are supposed to do - think your self lucky you don't have any MTB's with brazed on hangars. I just carry a chain splitter to shorten the chain- luckily I have only ever had it happen once.

Annoying, but it's doing its job, way cheaper than a new rear end. Cheap and light enough to carry a spare with, especially if you're riding in that sort of place

i have a bolt through axle and the derailleur was badly bent like 2 hrs straightening bent and i'm not sure if that will even work. To Be Continued.........
