Looking for advice on either Mid Wales or Forest of Dean

4-6 of us are planning a weekend, arrive Friday eve ride all day Saturday, maybe a short one Sunday then head home.
Anyone have any advice or gpx files they could share and places to stay please ?
Looking to go exploring around 30+ mile loop , Don't want to go to bike parks ideally
