I built the bike especially so that i could go out with my buddies without an e-bike, it just makes up for my lack of fitness so that i can keep up with the boys ?The M800 is very quiet so that you do not disturb anyone in the group. The range with the small 280 Wh battery is around 60 km, and by increasing the voltage to 46.2 volts, the output increases to almost 400 watts :)

No, in my opinion the M800 has too little power for a mtb, it was not designed for that. I just wanted to show how much weight you can save on an E-MTB. Never make the mistake and ride a minimal-assist bike with a group of normal e-bikes. On the first mountain you will regret it ?

M800 with 280W battery is probably similar to the Levo SL where you need to do some pedaling. Are you able to pack more battery into the frame? Boost mode should be pretty speedy!

The small 280Wh battery is only to save weight, the frame is usually for the M500 / 600 motor and has space for up to 800 Wh. But you have to make the battery cover yourself

Hi Karokoenig,
so your version of the motor is 36v, i see they do have the 43 versions.Thinking of buying one.By the way i have bought the dengfu e10 with bafang m600, should come next week to me and was thinking to make something similar like you did.So i might have the best of the both worlds, when i need.Just a fast motor swap and voila.

KaroKonig,
M800 is not a straight fit for this frame but only a clever machinist can do it, definitely not for us normal guys here :)
I'm wondering if you were able to run M800 in similar turbo boost mode of Levo SL?

In the highest support level, the M800 delivers just over 400 watts and 55 Nm, a little more than the Mahle in the Levo SL

KaroKonig - luv your innovation! Will you share the custom motor adapter dimension for M800 to fit on the M600 frame housing?

Savas - like your idea of swapping M800/M600 - I want to do the same if possible.

What mod is needed for M800 46v version to run on the same Bafang 48V battery for M600?

you could only charge the battery up to 46.5 volts, but that would not be optimal because of the high weight and the higher cut-off voltage of the BMS
It's no fun pedaling a 22 kg bike with a weak engine up the mountain?
So it‘s better to built a light Battery for the M 800 to save another 2,5 Kg

Agree! This is perfect for a light 55kg rider. I usually ride less than 2 hrs for 32+km 700+m ele. With a levo SL, I doubled the fun with the same time ?

I think Karokoenig has the 36v of the motor. There is a second one which is 43v ,which probably would allow more voltage.Probably i will buy later this motor for tests. In europe it is really expensive for what is it.

$690 for M800 complete kit sample price plus shipping from Alibaba, not sure if it is 43V.
I'd need bare motor, not complete kit though must buy complete kit since no one selling bare motor :-(
Do you think it would be an easy straight motor swap using KaroKonig's motor adapter plate?
