Hi all I wanted to pass on my recent experience with the Light and Motion Seca E-Bike light. I needed a new light so I can keep riding with a schedule change. I figured why not get one that runs off this massive battery I’m already toting around and save some cash.
Unfortunately despite there claim on the product page that the light “seamlessly integrates into evoke systems from Shimano and Bosch”
The 6v 1Amp output of the E8000 Will ot even allow the light to turn on let alone run at the rates 1800 lumens. I took and gamble and lost. I wanted to let the rest of you know about this issue.
I also want to say these L&M’s customers service has been quick to response to prepurchase questions and after I discovered this issue.
At this point I may just keep the light anyway as I was a good deal and buy a cheap Lipo pack to power it as a helmet light.
