How to remove speed sensor cable from the frame on 2019 turbo levo ?

Hey guys has anyone attempted to completely remove the speed sensor cable from the inside of the frame on the 2019 turbo levo? I want to reconnect it but have the cable running along the outside of the frame so I can move the sensor towards a crank magnet as there is not enough cable to do it at the moment it's about 2 inches too short running through the frame, Would I pull towards the the rear of the bike or towards the front of the bike then when to take the bike in for a service is it easy to thread the cable back through the frame as if nothing happened?
