Help re rear wheel Focus jam 2.

Daft question I know. But I'm trying to take rear wheel off Focus jam 2 and am struggling. Which way does the nut turn. Clockwise or anti-clockwise. It's an Allen key type nut. My son put it on and used too much force. The nut is now sheared on the inside.

It’s a regular thread, so loosens anti-clockwise.

Drill through from the other side, so that the clockwise torque from the drill exerts an unwinding force on the bolt. The drill need not be large.
