Just bought a 2020 Giant Stance-E to add to the fleet (2004 Rocky Mountain Element -- for sale) and a 2009 Specialized Stumpjumper (super versatile). I managed to crack the motor guard on the Stance in the first 2 km of trail riding (going over a log). Arggh.

Hello Peter. I ride a similar bike (Trance 2). Yeah, be careful w/striking the skid plate. Theres a lot of wiring down there & certainly dont want to damage that

Welcome aboard / Joe :coffee:

Yeah I saw all the wires and connectors when I took off the motor guard. I don't think it's a great design.

I agree as well regarding the design. Ive got the Speedbox installed & the wires are certainly bunched up, not to my liking:mad: Its a bit of a birds nest of wireso_O
