Going from the Purion to the Nyon is like going from a ZX81 to Iphone X

Just getting used to the Mapping features and custom modes - then I have the TOPO to look forward to.

heres a taster:

Actually thats not fair to the ZX81 - at least it knew the time

A better comparison would be a 1980 Timex watch to an Iphone X

I am new to E-bikes and I am planning on an upgrade to Nyon display

Is possible to upgrade to Nyon by myself or will I need a bosh service center to do the job ?

If you could give any info I would appreciate it.

Thanks

I'd like to go the oppisite way and get a more simple remote like the Spesh ones. I have no need for the screen on the purion.
I do love the data collection but I'd happily look at all that on the phone when I get home.
haha I also crash far to often to have a tablet on my bike

As far as I know it's a straight swap. It will be fairly simple but threading the cable through the frame may be fiddly.

As Dom said, its easy - in the box you get a stem holder, remote thumb controller and the wire to connect it to the motor. on my bike I had to pop the motor out inorder to thread the wire neatly. but no software updates to worry about. Since using it I have realised that the standard power levels are way too high so I have set my custom modes to 50% less than the standard modes.
