Hi all,

I've just got the Focus Jam2 29er and i've send that you can override the wheel speed sensor with a magnet so you can bypass the 25kph limit, but when looking at the wheel and the rear swing arm, i cannot see anything that relates to it having a wheel speed sensor....

I've seen the youtube clip from ebike Junkie on how to use a magnet on the crank and was keen to see if this would work?

Can anyone throw some light on the location of this?

Thanks,

Chubbs...

It's a little plate with a round magnet bonded to it bolted to rear brake disc via 2 of the 6 bolts.
Also, which shop did you get the Jam2 from in Brissy?

Thanks, I didn't buy it in Brisbane, I got it shipped up from Melbourne as it was $2k cheaper...

i'll see about moving the sensor over to the crank to see if that trick works...

I've just ordered a PDE-02 so i can maybe put the emax onto the bike if the magnet trick doesnt work..

cheers.

If you use the eplus software use there website to find your local store can derestricted it that way gives you correct speed readings etc the shimano motors abit to smart to run it on the crank
