Has anyone tried this external water bottle battery range extender with their Trek Rail?

What size frame have you got? The Rail isn't exactly generous with the water bottle spacing.

You might be OK then, it would be bloody tight in my Medium frame.

How do you connect the power to the bike with this? The Rail's charge port is in a rubbish position if you have to connect to this.

There's a video on their site, I think you have to splice the connector into the wiring loom.
