Hi seaching advice,
I've an E8000 powered Canyon.
I rode with no issue. Next time I can to it would not turn on.
No display nothing. I've checked all the connections I can see. Inc wires under the motor covers. Battery seems to accept full charge.
Anyone any ideas please?

Check the 2 large pins at the connection of battery to motor, I had the same symptoms and found one of the pins had pushed/ vibrated down a bit. Pulled it back up and away it went. Hope it helps

If it's been a while the rechargeable battery in the Shimano power switch runs out. If that's happened then you need to press the button on the battery with it in the bike: that will jumpstart the bike.

Did you manage to sort it in the end?
Still not sorted. Thought may be the mode switch as it bleeped and screen came on momentarily when fiddling with the connection. Tried replacement switch but no joy. Maybe the the display itself.

Is that for a remote power switch, or on the battery?
Mine was a fixed in place battery, so it was the power switch on the top of the top tube. It was a bike mechanic that told me to try it (he didn't even look at the bike). I was 10 mins away from leading a guided ride, so it was very lucky for me that it worked.
