After trying the Whyte e180 and being unable to decide if I want a new bike I’m thinking of fitting a coil shock to my Powerfly.

I imagine that more a progressive suspension action is desirable but have no idea how to find out if my frame is linear or progressive without trying to CAD model it. Does anyone have any hints or tips on converting to coil?

If you try it and it's not progressive enough, ie blows through the final travel, then you could fit an MRP progressive spring, they ramp up 20% toward the end of the stroke

I've looked into them but they aren't stiff enough. I need a 650ish spring and they max out at 550.

What bike is that on? I’m heavier than you but the calc on TFT’s website suggests a 650 spring based on wheel travel, shock stroke and weight.

It’s on a 2018 Levo matey
But I’m a really aggressive rider so it works well for me
