Hello All Help Please,

How do I set the right spring rate for my rear shock? I have a Meta Power Race 27.5 with a ROCKSHOX SUPER DELUXE RCT Coil, 210 x 55 mm, with a 450lbs spring. I think this maybe a bit too soft. Is there a chart for correct rider weight vs Spring Rate? I weigh circa 108kg fully clothed with pack for riding. I have looked on the internet but can't find anything.

Any wisdom or experience shared appreciated.

By the way this bike rocks. It has exceeded my expectations for fun and ability, so stable, so capable, so forgiving!!

There are a few online spring rate calculators tftuned has a pretty good one. From personal experience I’d guess you would need a 600lb spring. I’m running a 650 for my 116kg.

Once dialed in coils rock.

600# spring weighing in at 220# works well for me around 25%.
