I was having a little rant because my pups, one in particular is obsessed with cats. I've been training them slowly to be trail buddies and we went for the first run last night. One pup at a time, went perfect. Then decided to try both at the same time. Got 50m, they saw a cat and gave chase, I hit one with the wheel and was a disaster. I'll only know tonight when practising, whether it's made him hate the bike.

Cats should be indoor animals only.

I have a dog and a cat. The dog loves the cat but the cat hates the dog.

I like both Cats and Dogs, when we built our new house I was going to get a dog, my wife wanted a cat, so we "compromised" and got 2 cats. It all worked out in the end as my cat Odin is bigger than most dogs and he behaves like a dog too.

If it's unacceptable for dog shit to be left lying around. What happens to all the cat shit?

They bury it of course, whereas you have to pick up after your dog, handling that warm squidgy foul smelling stuff through a thin plastic membrane. Yuk!

Well that's wrong on both points. My old dears garden and drive beg to differ, she has to clear cat crap daily.

And if you feed your dog raw, like I do, it's neither foul smelling, nor squidgy.

I ran the dogs last night and the one who got hit and squished didn't want to. I thought I'd lost the 3m training.

We walked for 10m whilst I pushed the bike and eventually got on and he ran. So all is well. I really look forward to our late evening rides through the estates.

Will be late spring, maybe summer before they'll see any trails but the future is bright.

I won't just be free running them, I'm going to have my first go at bikejoring
