Hi, a have a 2022 expert coming soon, and I have a set of mt7 witch I will put on it.
But I need a but of help to get the correct adaptors.

For the frame is it 180->203mm adaptors, or some thing else?

MT7 refers to the caliper and the lever, but not to the disk. A 200/203mm disk will need a different adapter than the 220mm disk.

I have 220mm rotors and QM-45 adapters.

I believe you'll need a Magura QM44 adapter (180-203) on the rear for 203mm rotors.

As @RebornRider says, you'll need a different adapter for 220mm rotors.

I use a QM45 on the front (180-220 and Fox 36) and QM44 on the rear (180-203 Levo frame).

Thanks! We will see if the qm44 is correct. Hope the frame is a 180 rear then :D

Is it possible to install 220mm rotor on the rear of my levo and which is the required adaptor?

Today I installed a Magura MDR-P 220 rotor and new pads to my SLX 4 piston caliper/Lyrik fork/Levo 2020 alloy. Used a QM 45 adaptor
I have had difficulties trying to align. No too much tolerance. It seem that at times the pads touch the rotor and it transmits a vibration to the handle bars and loud noise. After riding and readusting it is better. Hopefully pads will wear a bit.

I will change the rear also.

There is more stopping power.

Are you sure that the pistons were *fully* retracted when you installed the new pads and rotors?

Did you find a solution to the brake issue
Magura are usually 2mm rotors
Shimano are 1.8mm

Yes it is a tight fit and needs fine tuning and alignment when installing new pads. Breaking is very good and will not go back to 200mm.
