Hey all, I was shopping for a Levo, but I missed out on the spring sale in the US. They had smoking good deals, but I held off. There is a used 2018 BMC Amp Trailfox for sale locally. Any thoughts or recommendations on this bike?

After trying out many bikes including Giant Trance, Cannondale Moterra 2 (2020 model), Turbo Levo expert Carbon (put 12 hard hours in one week on it) and the BMC speedfox amp 3 (2019), the BMC won hands down for me. Just one 3 hour off-road technical singletrack ride was all it took. I much preferred the Shimano e8000 motor over the Brose, newest Bosch and the Yamaha due to Shimano’s most manageable (for me) power output and stock power levels. Close to 200 hard hours on the bike in less than 6 months and the bike and motor have been flawless. I charge the battery daily as I ride it daily. The rear end is stiffer laterally and tracks much better than the Levo from my experience. Been riding 29” wheels since 2003 so No going smaller for me, altho I’ve tried 27.5. Trailfox amp or speedfox amp, you can’t go wrong. Hope this helps.
