• Warning!!

Riding a tuned or deristricted EMTB is not a trivial offence and can have serious legal consequences. Also, many manufacturers can detect the use of a tuning device or deristricting method and may decline a repair under warranty if it was modified from the intended original specification. Deristricting EMTB's can also add increased loads for motors and batteries. Riding above the local law limit may reclassify the bike as a low-powered bike, requiring insurance, registration and a number plate.

Be aware of your local country laws. Many laws prohibit use of modified EMTB's. It is your responsibility to check local laws. Ignoring it, has potential implications to trail access, and risk of prosecution in the event of an accident.

I might check it out. I don't want to change the default (speed) limits on the bike, but I am frustrated that the Mission Control app isn't functional (at least to log in) when outside of a wireless or mobile network.

i have used it the android version is better than the ios version. its a very cool app
try the "madness" setting its awesome.
using the default z works sport setting greatly increases battery life, he updates it all the time and it has some very cool features like smart mode and if you ride with your phone on the bars there is a good info screen
the other app for ios is Zworks works very well but its just for motor settings only

After a few rides with it set on madness the battery seems to last longer, 22 miles with 3 bars left, and the bike is a lot smoother.

Does this iOS app allow me to remove the 15mph limit? I ride exclusively on trails so the limit seems ridiculous to me, and if I can remove it via the app on a 2018 base/comp/comp carbon that would be very well received.

Yes it shows it can raise to 75kph just not sure about warranty implications.

Does the madness mode vary the speed limit? I don't want to remove this - I am unsure whether or not there is some kind of logging of variations to the motor limits . . . and I don't want to void warranty. I'm all for more efficiency - just not too keen to mess with the limits.

Ok i it needs to be clear most of the third party apps have the facility to increase the cut off limit BUT you dont have to use that facility if you dont want to, you can still take advantage of the other functions without breaking the law!
None of the apps will increase motor power beyond the manufactureers limit, they just improve efficiency. Like i couldnt get my head around how setting the motor current to zero would improve things.....until I tried it WOW
I have used these apps now on three levos, two of mine and one my wifes all bikes have been back to spesh for repairs and service under warrenty without problem. all i did was using mission control do a factory reset and it removes any custom settings without trace. But lets face it all the apps including mission control do the same things regarding motor tune some just do it better.
A friend of mine was even advised by a specialised main dealer “use Blevo or Zworks they are much better than mission control”
It is not my intention to encourage people to break the law by modifying their bikes but using these app sensibly is not breaking the law

Totally understand, it's all good. I just wanted to glean the benefits you've had using Blevo - ie - improved efficiency etc.

Can you give me a good starting point? I have currently set my Mission control to 25/50/100 and find this pretty good . I have reduced acceleration to Eco; but have left motor current default.

What settings have you had success with via BLevo? I'm pretty sure I'll give it a go soon - just wouldn't mind a starting point and to hear a few more of your experiences with the app and your Levo out riding.

I would say on the 2018 bikes the standard settings give pretty good performance but as a starting point in Blevo try the zworks power setting and see what you think

I checked out the BLevo app yesterday on IOS but couldn't find a setting for adjusting the motor power/peak power/motor current individually for each mode. Is this not an option in the IOS app?
