Bike for the 'BETTER HALF'

Got the chance to buy a new 2018 Jam2 for my girl, anything I should be wary of, it's a great price at $3799 AUS for a new (although 2 years old) bike. I've got a Merida and it has the shimano motor the same as the Focus. Anyone got any ideas if the battery will have suffered from sitting in a bike shop for a couple of years? Any pointers would be much appreciated and would perhaps give me a bit of bargaining power with the bike shop, Cheers Steve

Just make sure the shop are giving you 2 years warranty and you're sorted.
