A good starting point is PSI equivalent to your weight in lbs fully kitted out ( not naked on the scales!) I am 77/78 kg, so probably 85kg with my riding gear on...my rear shock is set to 210 psi which gives 28% sag in the action position ( most of my riding is in the action position rather than seated…….. you will find sag is different if you set it for mostly just the seated position since your all up weight will be further back on the bike compared to the action position).

I am 6’2” - 100kg and had 30% sag at 250 Psi on my 2020 RS Deluxe Select + . Now running a DPX2 at 320 psi for the same sag, trying to figure out what’s wrong with the damn thing.

I don't care what the air pressure is as long as I get the sag I'm looking for. If I was using up too much travel too easily, then I'd add one or more spacers to reduce the air volume.

@Mikerb makes a good point about the method of inflating the shock. Modern designs no longer rely on "just pump it up and go". They need inflating very carefully according to the manufacturers requirements; consult their website. My fork and shock benefited from this because apparently they had been initially inflated by an old school tech guy.
