Hi,
Can anyone here confirm that 27.5+ (2.8") tyre will fit on a Fox Factory 36 29" 2020 fork without exceed the safety clearence of 8.5mm between the bottom of the crown and tyre when the fork is fully compressed.

I've seen that Fox forks from 2018/2019 did support 27.5+ 2.8" tyres but are unable to find any information about it regarding there 2020 models.

Regards Chriss

diameter of a 27.5x2.8 tyre is quite a bit smaller than that of a 29x2.5

The only possible issue with running 27.5 plus tyres would be fork arch/leg clearance for the width. Not crown clearance at bottom out.

I have attached pictures that shows the clearance with the Rockshox Recon fork. Current tyres are Maxxis High Roller II. Inner width on wheel/rim 30mm.

Clearance to the arch - 30mm - 1,2inch
Fork from leg-to-leg inside width - 97mm - 3.8inch
Tyre Clearance from inside leg to outside nob - 14mm - 0.588inch
Tyre with from stud-to-stud - 68mm - 2.6inch (don't know what it's called)

I was not able to find a 36 with 140mm travel so I purchased a 140mm 34 instead. This will as I see it answer my qustion about tyre clearnce ;-)

Maxxis DHR 27.5 2.8 will absolutely fit.
