It will arrive just in time for a few rides before the highly anticipated 2021 Levo next September.

When I bought the Levo I was doing 5 feet jumps
The ebike has allowed me to progress at such a rate I'm now doing 25 feet jumps so the Kenevo will suit me better.
I've seen the bike and it's decent.

They are not interchangeable, they use completely different bolt mounting patterns
If you look at the pictures (highly scientific) they look the same, it's just as if they moved all the casing more inboard to reduce weight and size, so more could in theory be squashed around it - but using the same mounting positions ..

But I am only working from some picture images in my head , so could be complete tosh.

It ‘could’ be possible as the new 2.1 motor is 15% smaller but I think looking and comparing the two engines and the engine mounts you would need to be an engineering genius to get the 2.1 engine fitting the older Levo with a 1.2 or 1.3 engine :unsure:

You're not completly right. There are two versions with different engine mounts.

But anyhow... an upgrade is nearly impossible. The new battery and the TCU will be needed too...

Well, that shows how shot my brain is, in my distorted brain image the motor mounts are in the same relative places, but the 2.1 sits below the mounts (like the real picture) .. now if only I can download the incorrect images from my brain .. it seems so much more plausible if you have those images ! :)

Imagination .. it's a wonderful ... and dangerous thing ....

You have the Kenevo bug, it’s quite contagious.
First you misinterpret battery range, then gear selection, motor comparisons.
Next thing you know your praising Yamaha motors...

Thanks Ace, I haven't really looked at the higher models due to price which is why I didn't recognise the spec right away.

I'm on the fence should I wait for the new kenevo or get a 2020 levo, already have the old 2018 levo, just dont know what to do. Has anyone actually seen the new kenevo yet, is it worth the wait.

Given how close the launch is I would personally wait just to see. It is likely though that you may have to wait much longer than the release date to get your hands on one though unless stock has been sent out ahead of the launch to retailers. I’m very happy with my 2019 levo and regularly ride such places as the Golfie Innerleithen etc which it copes with well. Only caveat is that I have a 170mm Lyrik ultimate on the front and flip chip on low for days like that. I was easily keeping up with/faster than others with 180mm kenevo’s and acoustic bikes though. Bottom line is you will have fun on whatever you have but I do appreciate the extra travel up front hence why I would wait and see!!

The Levo is such a capable bike, unless you really are riding a lot of bike park stuff, or DH tracks, then I can see much point in waiting.

I think a comp with the travel set to 160mm is pretty much a no brainer, just can't see any point in going further up the Levo range unless you really are a good enough rider to benefit from the adjustability of the factory suspension.

The bike isn't even ridable with the governor on. The new firmware has is cutting out at like 20. I can ride faster on a peddle bike.

Yes it cuts out at 20mph, you know why?
Because that’s what the law is. Why would they make the bike go more than 20mph when they are federally mandated no to to exceed 20mph? Do you think they want to be liable for that?
With the new federal law in national parks allowing classes 1-3 of Ebikes, you might see that 20mph become 28mph everywhere

If the new Kenevo came with 180mm boxxer how easy is it to convert to 200mm ?
A mate thinks they are all 200mm it's just the 180mm version comes with some spacer type thing you just remove and it becomes 200mm
