What wheels and tyres are you using for commuting? something i need to look in to.

Schwalbe Energizer Plus 28 x 2.00 (50-622) on Mavic Crossmax wheels (622 x 25). Those are some of the cheapest boost wheels that I could find. I believe that's equivalent to a 27.5 X 2.8, so just slightly larger than the stock wheels/tires but it fits fine. SRAM 200mm brake rotors. SRAM Eagle NX 12-speed cassette to match the stock one. I think the rack is a Thule Pack 'N Pedal.

I commute sometimes on mine, 12 miles of mostly flat on offroad 2.6 tyres and agree it could do with slightly taller gearing or a touch more assistance at higher cadence (which the newer PW-X2 motor on 2020 bikes supposedly addresses). I may get a second set of rims with road tyres when funds allow.
