A lot of nice different Levo personalities in here I must say...
You got the adventure levo's, the cook levo's, the solitarie Levo's, the Snow man Levo's, the Alpine Levo's, the Lake Levo's, the Stunt man Levos hanging off Fire wood Ledges apparently, the Tree-hugger Levo's, the Green Clean...
Some form of what the surfers call a rash guard is probably right down your alley for this...
But then again that's what Mountainbikers call compression tops it seems and you tried it already so... I normally use a something like a skinz top under mine unless its up around 30 C or more, then...
I actually like it better than my Acoustic with normal SRAM eagel. Going back now ( after about 500Kms on the levo With the AXS), it felt almost a bit wierd having to press harder and in a different possition and use more force going up the cassette...
Guess it's got a lot to do with what you...
Hi all, I'm baaaaaaack :)
And I can finally count myself a true Levo owner, not just a confirmed reservation holder. Even though I never got the S-works frame as planned due to current situation and specialized not being able to deliver that apparently, I did end up with a complete expert...
I've used both Milkit and other "normal" valves with several different makes of sealant. Had no big issues with any of it really... Most sealants provide some sort of top up bottle or similar with their kits.
In terms of valves I think 35mm or 45mm length should do fine for the original 19...
This look dang sweet Rob :)
Though if you hold on a little while longer, then get the new Mercedes EQV Electric that's coming :D
I just got an Electric myself, and they are SWEET!
I signed up for notification of when they were in stock and honestly forgot all about it until I was, well, notified...... Ordered it immediately since it said only 2-3 in stock at that time back in early Nov or late October. Got it not long after.
I bought mine through Upgrade/DMR too. Ordered just one no problem and got it shipped here to Norway. Though shipping was not cheap but it was super quick...
I'm not sure about the availability and when it became available where to be honest.
I was planning on buying a '19 Expert carbon on sale back in September and replace a lot of the parts , when I came across a German vid on youtube with a dealer having been to specialized looking at the 2020...
Oh, and I assume they make more on complete bikes as they probably charge a markup on all components Vs. their production / bulk acquisition cost as well, in addition to the liability and warranty issues that might come from improper customer use/build etc. as Al mentioned.
I'm a little biased here I guess, seeing as I have the Levo frame on order.
In my opinion anyone with a specific taste in the parts they like to use and who would swap stuff on a new bike anyway, is sure to appreciate a frame kit only. Or for the seasoned bargain hunter or the bike parts...
I'll add that when I say deep snow, I'm not talking deep powder though, rather maybe like 5-6-10 cm or something. RickBullotta is right in his statement on really deep stuff and wider tires there for sure.
When I commuted on my spikers last season some of it was on bare tarmac as well, which...
I have been riding the Schwalbe Ice spikers 27.5 2.60 all last winter on my clockwork bike. quite happy with them and grip on ICE is INSANE! Super slow rolling though....
If you have a lot of deeper snow and ICE I would not be worried about the 29. 2.25 dimension as that would rather break...
I'm looking at a 160 Lyrik Ultimate for my S-works build. Been debating back and forth around 42 or 51 offset, but seeing the 160 will slacken head angle a bit and also is longer, I have decided on the 42 Offset. Would probably go for the 51 if I kept with 150...
Slippery Pete is absolute...
