It is still working fine, and epoxy is holding it together. I recently installed lights for the winter so I had to remove it again, to connect the lights.
If you look at fox service instructions there is a note in regards of free service of faulty x2.
I got a completly new 2024 x2 from local Fox service center (reign e 2022), at no cost.
Are you referring to; tensioning of the chain, before tightening the derailleur, to the frame (derailleur in locked position), that has to be done under sag ?
I received 2024 X2 on warranty from the nearest Fox Service center.
The original one, lasted 7-800km btw surging noise, both the first and second time it failed.
Did you connect pins 5 and 6 (+charging and + supply together?)
Additional BMS for charging, could be a potential solution to make these batteries useable 🧐
