Garmin users: Training Status and the Power Sensor

My same Garmin connected to a Specialized gets real honest power meter data.

New Giant Trance E 2022 firmware makes the powermeter useless

The in house Giant Branded cycle computer does not fix the issue. Buying a Specialized does, and its a consideration if the data is important to you. My next ebike will have a PowerMeter that works.

CS-4100-10 11-46T. This is cassette number 3, for the Rad cage'd Zee. I Had to add a larger pulley to get enough take-up for the 11-46 cassette, but its making the stretch nicely 👌 eventually I will need to buy a new derailleur, but for now a box of spare parts is keeping up. Update: The rig...

Kindernay and belt drive on a FS emtb ?

Sorry for the huge delay. Prior to delivery of the K7, I ruptured a disk in my lower back. My riding has been so limited after surgery, that I could not really evaluate the hub. I will say that after several weeks on the K7, I went back to a 10 speed on the Trance. No regrets I plan to use...

Squeak on crank revolution, Trance E+1 Pro 2020

Maybe check your Chain Ring bolts... I had one creak that seemed to follow the cranks, but paying attention showed me it was in-phase with one loose CR bolt.

    TRANCE X E+ PRO 29 1 2021 + Garmin Edge 530 Power Watts

The power meter is a separate device on my 2021 Trance X. All included the 2021 Trance X shows 3 ant+ devices to the Garmin Edge 830 and Phoenix 6. Ebike Cadence Rider Power Once connected, the power data is bogus, and will corrupt the workout data. I am aware of NOBODY getting accurate rider...

Review FOX Proframe Full Face Helmet

I can definitely say the Fox Proframe, is among the least satisfying purchases, I have made during my emtb days. The sizing is wrong, and the quality of the liner wouldn't pass Walmart standards. On the plus side, it's light, it breaths, & the latch is cool.

Garmin users: Training Status and the Power Sensor

What happens to the calories burned when you do the same ride twice, once with the power sensor connected, once with it disconnected? The calories burned estimation, should remain relatively stable regardless of the power sensor connection status, unless its data is bad.

Garmin users: Training Status and the Power Sensor

Good luck with surgery. Looking forward to your report on the Dash 200. So far, no cycling computer has accurately captured Giant's power sensor data.

Garmin users: Training Status and the Power Sensor

Hey thanks! Just recently had back surgery, so I'm not going to be in the saddle anytime soon. In general, do you like the system? Does it calculate Vo2 max? Thanks in advance.
