1) My Rise has 85nm, it took me a couple of minutes to fix that,
2) if you are confident enough to put your bike in a public space in a hotel you might as well charge it there. (i don't think i will go to a hotel that doesn't allow me to keep the bike in my room, and if they don't i smuggle it...
the crank problem is solved, as they stopped shipping the bikes with the e*thirteen cranks months ago.
i have had my bike for over 2000km, not a single problem, no charger port problems at all, and it's fabulous, i did not use my Levo ONCE !
i'm using it "XC style" light tires, narrow rims, but...
you should have a web site of your own, nobody does this better ! :)
(i managed to get the cable thru without removing the dropper cable, but next time i will just ask you first :)
the biggest mistake i made was ordering the SC EM8000, instead of the SC EM800 !!!, im getting the 800 next week...
i got the answer, patience, a lot more patience, and wiggling, in the end i used a small allen key to wiggle/push the dropper cable by a couple of tenths of mm to make sure it was completely snug against the frame, liberating JUST enough space, it's really a mather of tenths of mm, no more, so...
Thanks for this post, the most complete source of information about thus subject anywhere, i'm installing the EM800, how am i going to get the cable thru the port after removing the SD50 ? do i have to remove the dropper cable first ? it's all very narrow, i cannot find a way
15 stone, when you say that it sounds like lord of the rings to me, i'm not even going to bother converting that sorry, but i guess you mean you are heavy ? did you damage the frame by hiting something ? was it carbon ? should not happen, whatever the type of bike. i would chose a bike that...
yes of course, but i will use profile 2 only for my relatively short workday rides, and switch to profile one and two extenders when i want to go over 100 km the week ends, i have not tried that yet, my bike still, has the “new bike” smell :)
it is, if you aren't worried about waranty issues. you can setup, for example, boost at 85nm, trail at 40, eco at 20, on one of the profiles, and keep the other profile for longer rides with the default settings.
i used STunlocker
oh and, not that i did this, officialy, but, you can derestrict it, not just the speed, but the max torque can be restored to 85nm, without affecting any of the changes Orbea Made (you still have to make an effort, spin the cranks quickly, but you get all the power from the motor. "or so i...
just did, absolutely no regrets at all, i'm keeping the Levo, but i think i will not be using it anymore, it's just in case i want to go ride with someone who doesn't own a EMTB (that is everybody i know :)
Its a Medium, LTD, quand piston XTR brakes, Fox36 17.03 kilos with pedals and just over 2...
