    140 HPC TM2023 Upgrade options.

Hi Fellow CUBEer's, I've just ordered a 140 HPC TM2023 to replace my 4 year old Levo for trail use, and will be looking to upgrade a few things.... Forks, probably just a new damper cartridge (Grip 2?). Shock, is there a list of what defiantly fits? Looking at Cane creek Kitsuma Air or Ohlins...

What3words app - pinpoint your exact location

I had to use W3W after an accident, I was only 1 mile from my house and talking to an operator in the same town, but I couldn’t fully name my location for them to understand! So I used W3W, it was simple and correct. ? Shame the ambulance was going to take 4-5hours to arrive (2 miles from...

    Unique mechanical issue with eMTBs

Shimano used to have 3x tiny but long bolts that would hold most of the cassette together as 1 piece.....dont see it anymore! Steel free hub bodies are a must.

Wahoo add ANT+ LEV (Light Electric Vehicle) to Elemnt/Bolt/Roam

Ted. I tried today and found the same as you, new fields added to standard screens, but not able to create a new page just for Ebike (I still ride analogue). Or able to add any LEV fields like distance remaining or power, just battery, mode... also can’t delete any fields only edit. I wonder if...

Van for the win, No way I would want to lift an E-bike on to the roof of anything! Towbar rack would be the only other otion to consider.

    12v Car chargers?

Word of caution to those with the BMW 12v charger (or I guess any other 12v appliance). Was charging with mine today and when I checked it the charger light was switching between red and green every 2-3 seconds, but had only been charging an hour so no where near finished. I checked the 12v...

    Heart rate watches

Fitbit ionic for me, 4-5 days battery life main reason. Didn’t want to be a slave to an iwatch lol Not tried to use it as an activity tracker or linked to bike...yet. Good results for day to day heart rate and fun results for “activities “ and seeing how busy my day has been. Sticking with my...

    Chain ring and cassette recommendation

I’m also wanting to up the chainring size from 32T as I’m finding on the down hilly bits I’m out of gears. Only run out on the flat if tarmac (yuck) but only use the bigger gears on the rear when I go “straight” back up the hill rather than use the trail ;) I’ve heard that Praxis are the only...

    12v levo charger

Tried my local UK dealer, even with the part no listed above he can’t find it, only one for a Bosch battery. :(. Can’t bring myself to cough up £110 from eBay.

    GPS trackers, anti theft.

Yep one of my concerns with these is the short battery life, 5-6 days don’t give you much time to find it, and you know it will be taken on the day before you charge it! Needs to be hidden to prevent removal. So far the handle bar fitting ones are looking promising as they have a very good...
