  • Filotnie. You put things into prospective really well. I had similar experience buying a Cube a year ago . Local dealer was just crap and newer followed anything up. So I looked on line made a few calls and bought back 3hours away. And never been back to store. So point is local sounds great but not all shops live up to expectations

    The YT looks a real possibility later this year especially with the new 29.

    This is it.. for me it is total package.. total experience. It is nowadays often better online (Because they have to try harder with different perspective) then with local.. Which may still be great but it have to keep the level. It is hard business selling bikes and everyone needs to try harder now. Some (like Cube IMHO) are spoiled by being big (also quite good) so dealers are dealing with retailers..

    retailers with mass consumer.. somebody who wants something more something special.. or simply knows more then average is just bothering daily business.. so those who want something more then mass or average they need also look further away.. Internet for instance.
