Levo Gen 2 Help choosing between air or spring shock

I just ordered the Super Deluxe ultimate coil, I read that the hydraulic bottom out is great for the linear suspension of the Levo. Will report back once I try it. Thanks to everybody for their insights, it helped to put to rest the agony of the decision.

Levo Gen 2 Help choosing between air or spring shock

Hi, the shock on my gen2 Levo expert got damaged when the shop tried to service it so now I am looking for a replacement. The local Rockshox dealer is trying to convince me that the best option would be the Super deluxe ultimate coil but I am no sure if an air shock would be a better option...

I did perform the update last night, I am very happy with the results but I still need to do a ful ride to see if I notice any difference. Walk mode is running great! Better than with any previous update. it engages instantly and every time! (something it didn´t do before). The only things I...

Levo Gen 2 Levo Firmware Update

I did update it, my advice would be: If you do not need walk assist to clear very technical bits go ahead, otherwise think twice as pulling that heavy bike uphill is no fun at all! I should have skipped the update...

    Tubeless Woes

Yes, Specialized sells them, they are a great option to have as a spare tube. The only downside is that they are heavey and bulkier when folded compared to a regular tube.

    2020 Levo - Twitchy? Fixes?

Do you feel it is un-stable or chattery? I would suggest that you try the low position and make sure you have set up the suspension correctly, I found that the suggested tyre, shock and fork pressures too high for single track use, I also removed volume spacers. In the end I went to a Lyric...

First ebike 6k what are you guys riding

It can use wider tires. I tried HR2 27.5 x 3.0 on 45mm wheels on mine. The fit is tight but no rubbing. Battery range took a hit compared to the original 29x2.6

    Acceleration response

Acceleration setting affects how quickly power ramps up when you put more pressure on the pedals. a quick way to notice the effect is when you stall and need to re-start on a steep hill. Too little and you will struggle to make enough momentum, too much and you might have issues with loosing...

    New Mission Control features

I have been using the combination of smart power and smart HR together and I it is the best for me! I set up smart power to effort that I want to make and use smart HR as a "safety meassure" in case the smart power setting is not enough. It might sound complicated but once I found the setting I...

    Lyric Ultimate opinion and suggestions?

I found a Lyric ultimate 29" 160mm 42 offset for what seems a very good price (around 700 usd) and want opinions from other users as well as setup suggestions. I have a 19 Levo expert and are not completely satisfied with the Pike in small bump sensitivity and overall feel. What would be the...

Can I pick your brains again?

I would suggest giving tubeless a try, it is really not expensive in my book. The only thing you will need is to purchase the sealant (Stans in my case) and check the level twice a year. The Tubeless valves should have come with your bike.
