Never had a problem with Trek’s warranty and my LBS. Even had a warranty motor supplied and fitted in less than a week on my old PF7. Bomble, you need to rattle some cages.

I use Cooksons for all my bike stuff. Very very helpful staff and can’t be faulted. They did a Bosch motor swap for me on my old PF7 when the main bearings failed. 20 months old, 2200miles, motor swapped under warranty. Charged me £60 labour. All sorted in 4 days. Proper happy with that result.

My Rail 7 leaning on a folly. Visited friends that live nearby, it was near Thetford Forest. and also at the Desert Rats Memorial not too far away from the folly.

Save your money. They’ve fell off both our Rails. It seems they’re decorative rather than serving as a seal. If it’s missing we all know your riding your bikes rather than looking at it.

That must be as unstable on the front end as this........

Knox is the way to go. I had my LBS supply & fit it for me. It’s well worth the added extra but add a lanyard to it before your 1st ride. I’ve read a few have fell off during rides.

Saints front and rear on my 7 now. Fabulous stopping power now for my large stature.

My wife’s Rail 7 is now upto about 2300 miles and has been faultless. Recently the derailleur has started to stick when going up the gears I.e. big gear to small gear. Is it time for a derailleur change or is it a serviceable item?

Good shout, count me in. I’ll ride up there from Radcliffe thru Bolton, Middlebrook Trail into Horwich. There’s a group of us been up there a few times.
