I have a new Shuttle LT on the way and was wondering what people thought regarding using a coil or air shock? I got the base Ride/SLX model because I am swapping out drivetrain stuff with SRAM and I also have a Zeb fork and Vivid Air Ultimate on the way for it. Before I put the Vivid shock on it...
The big problem is I get a hook-up at my local Giant dealer so not sure if they can transfer from Canada or not. The color is weird on the 23 I agree. I work at a bike shop that sells Pivot, Santa Cruz etc. but the Giant is about half the price!
Does anyone have any top-secret inside Illuminati type info if the 2023 E+ 1 is ever going to be available in the US? I see them listed on other countries websites but not the US one. My buddy at the local Giant shop can't get a straight answer from Giant either. The +2 and +3 are in stock and...
Funny I was just searching how to show the percentage on a Wahoo computer-not sure if it can be done? I know we have lights on the Trance but an actual number (without pulling up the app on the phone) would be cool.
My new battery is still not in-obvious supply chain issues. I can't believe dielectric grease has solved my problem even though they said it was the battery. Again, since I cleaned the battery terminals and applied a light amount of grease I have not had ONE hiccup!
I thought for sure it was the motor overheating on mine too-the plastic Giant motor cap fell off from the heat (held on by some double-sided tape.) The left motor casing cover is also super hot to the touch-especially with that cap on there. I am also 215 lbs and ride in 90-100 degree weather...
Unfortunately no battery yet. I cleaned the terminals and applied dialectric grease and haven't had a problem since. Still waiting on the "updated" battery though.
Just another update-bike is at the local Giant shop and Giant says it needs an updated battery (funny since this thing is brand new!) Current battery is "Ox17" and update is "0x1b" per the info from the shop. It's on the way to the shop and I will update this post once I get it out and beat the...
Here is a printout of the service interval line-I had my buddy switch it to 6k miles. I mostly use the “active” mode but when I first got the bike I used “auto” quite a bit. I have tried higher cadence/less torque and lower cadence/more torque-same results.
