Avinox-powered carbon enduro eMTB with 130Nm motor and 600/800Wh battery

The MAXX FAB.4 ELA 2026 is a Bavarian carbon full-suspension e-enduro built around the DJI Avinox M2S motor, with a 50-colour factory paint programme and customisable components as the standout USPs. Headline numbers: 150 Nm of torque, 1,500 W manufacturer-claimed peak, 600 Wh removable DJI Avinox battery, 170 mm front / 160 mm rear travel, a 65.0 degree head angle and a €6,699 base. There are no curated community quotes on file yet, so this verdict draws on the gold spec sheet and the DJI Avinox M2S platform context.
Drive system and range. The DJI Avinox M2S is currently one of the most powerful and most-discussed motors in the segment, delivering 150 Nm of torque and a 1,500 W manufacturer-claimed peak at a class-leading 2.63 kg motor weight. As of April 2026 the M2S is used across 60-plus brands including Commencal, Forbidden, Unno, Megamo and Pivot Shuttle AMP'd, so the unit has graduated from exotic to mainstream. The 600 Wh DJI Avinox battery is removable and is on the modest side for a full-power enduro — riders should expect three to four hours of mixed-trail riding before reserves bite. With a manufacturer-claimed peak of 1,500 W, this is among the highest-output mainstream motors on sale.
Geometry and handling. The FAB.4 ELA runs five sizes (S, M, L, XL, XXL), with reach progressing from 427 mm (S) through 460 mm (M), 490 mm (L), 510 mm (XL) and topping at 525 mm in XXL. The head angle is fixed at 65.0 degrees across the range, with a 455 mm chainstay and wheelbase that grows from 1,222 mm to 1,346 mm. By 2026 enduro-eMTB standards the 65 degree HA is on the conservative side compared to genuinely slack 64 degree rivals, but the long reach progression and XXL size option will appeal to taller riders specifically. The full-suspension layout uses a Horst Link with 170/160 mm travel split — biased slightly more towards descending than the symmetrical-travel rivals.
Build and value. Only the base trim is on file at €6,699, with the carbon frame, DJI Avinox M2S motor, removable 600 Wh battery, and the headline MAXX wet-paint workshop offering: ex-works customisable colours and component finishes (matte or glossy) via the brand's facility in Rosenheim, Germany. This makes the FAB.4 ELA effectively the only DJI Avinox-equipped factory custom-paint eMTB on the market — a meaningful differentiator for buyers willing to wait for a build.
Verdict. The MAXX FAB.4 ELA 2026 suits buyers who specifically want the DJI Avinox M2S motor in a Bavarian-built carbon enduro chassis, factory-custom paint and component finish, and the long-range geometry that includes an XXL size. Less suitable for riders who need the absolute slackest enduro geometry, the largest available battery capacities, or a mainstream-brand dealer network with established UK presence. Production status: current. Without a published trim ladder above the base or any community feedback, demo and direct dealer engagement are essential before committing.
