A solid all-round descender (66.5° head angle, 150mm) — capable in the rough and steep without being an all-out bruiser.
XTF 1.5 2022
How current the bike is — newer chassis, motor and battery score higher. 10 = brand-new, 0 = legacy.

The 2022 Fantic XTF 1.5 was the alloy entry point into the Italian brand's XTF trail range, built on a hydroformed aluminium frame with 150mm of travel front and rear via Fantic's full-float linkage-driven single-pivot rear end. It rolled on 29in wheels at both ends and was offered in three sizes (S, M, L).
Power came from a Fantic-rebadged Brose mid-drive, listed on the page as Brose ALU 36 Volt, 250W and 90Nm, fed by an integrated 630Wh Fantic Integra battery and controlled through the Brose All Round 4 display. The build is deliberately utilitarian: a RockShox Recon Silver RL fork and Deluxe Select air shock, a full SRAM SX Eagle 12-speed transmission, SRAM Level 2-piston brakes on 200mm front / 180mm rear CenterLine rotors, and chunky Schwalbe Smart Sam 29 x 2.6in tyres on Rodi BlackJack rims, finished with a Promax cockpit and dropper post.
Geometry is moderate trail rather than aggressive enduro, with a 66 to 66.5 degree head angle, a 73 degree seat angle and reach growing from 407mm (S) to 453mm (L). Within the wider 2022 XTF 1.5 line it sat below the higher-specced alloy XTF 1.5 Sport and the four separate carbon models (Carbon, Carbon Sport, Carbon Race and Carbon Factory), positioning itself as the value-focused, mid-power alloy trail option.
This model year is discontinued. No verified owner ride or reliability data is available for this specific build, so no such claims are made here; specifications are taken from the archived 2022 manufacturer page and cross-checked against an independent geometry database.
What the numbers mean on the trail
Computed from this bike's geometry, spec and build kit — reach, wheelbase, chainstay, head and seat angles, travel, motor, weight and the fork/tyre/brake spec — and worked out per size, because a fixed chainstay can make an S and an XL feel very different.
More planted than poppy — better on steep terrain than tight, fiddly singletrack.
Rear-long with a planted front in L (FC:RC 1.64) — easy to weight the front and quick to turn, though it can feel light at the back at real speed.
Brose Drive S Mag and a steep 73° seat angle keep the weight planted over the front — a proper winch. 560W of peak power and 90Nm of torque — a strong full-power motor.
Strong up and composed down — a do-it-all, not a specialist.
Brilliant on fast, rough, steep terrain; less fun on tight, mellow trails.
