XEF 1.9 2024
How current the bike is — newer chassis, motor and battery score higher. 10 = brand-new, 0 = legacy.

The Fantic XEF 1.9 was the Italian brand's aluminium enduro flagship, a mixed-wheel (29in front, 27.5in rear) machine with 190mm of front travel and a Brose S-Mag motor rated at 90Nm fed by a 720Wh battery. The 64 to 64.5 degree head angle and long 1226 to 1281mm wheelbase mark it out as a downhill-leaning, gravity-focused build rather than an all-rounder.
Three trims sat under the 1.9 banner in 2024. The Race (6,699 GBP) anchored the line with a RockShox Zeb Select fork, coil rear shock and Magura MT7 four-piston brakes. The Factory (8,499 GBP) stepped up to a RockShox Zeb Ultimate, an Ohlins TTX 22M coil shock, SRAM GX AXS wireless shifting and a carbon seat-stay rear end. The limited-edition Fantic Racing version mirrored the Factory frame but swapped in EXT Racing Shox ERA V2 and E-Storia suspension; its UK RRP was not publicly listed as it was sold as a special order.
Geometry is consistent across the three sizes, with reach running 414 to 469mm and a steep-for-the-era 72 degree seat angle. Chainstays are a long 459mm throughout, reinforcing the stable, planted character.
This generation is discontinued. Fantic has since revised the XEF platform around its in-house Fantic 1.7 brushless motor, moving the range away from the Brose S-Mag drive unit fitted here.
